Going crazy for Bento Boxes!

I've had numerous customers ask me 'when are you going to get bento boxes in? They are soooo cute ...' and I am happy to say we now have some in stock. Woo hoo!

Imported from Japan, they come in a range of different designs and sizes, and I must say they are extremely kawaii! I've priced them all at $20, so they are not only adorable but also affordable. They are microwave safe, and perfect for kinder, school and any snack time.

Easter 2010

Easter this year saw us going camping with my family at Rocklands Reservoir in Western Victoria. Due to years of drought, water is minimal but still campable none the less. On Friday we packed the kids up and headed bush!

Connor and Imogen had a lot of fun, got very dirty and ate a lot of easter eggs! They loved sitting around the fire in their little chairs, and kept everyone entertained (and on their toes to ensure they didn't get to close to the campfire). There was a couple of other boys there and Connor had a lot of fun running around with them and playing 'monsters'. At night we sat around the campfire and ate (lots of chocolate, marshmellows and chips ... so healthy!) and had a couple of drinks.

Here is Imogen devouring a piece of Aunty Susan's hedgehog (it was delicious!) and Connor and Imogen at the tent. Connor took his 'best friend' baa along for the trip (Baa is a very grotty toy lamb that he's had for years .. well, it's his second one, he just doesn't know it! He went through a 'soapy wash' and came out all fluffy one day ..! Almost time for a 3rd ...) and we were informed later that Baa 'loved camping'.

I took their Fluffy Anpanman Jackets as it was so cold at night and in the mornings: the little jackets were great during their first proper test run! Very thick and warm, and when I got home, through the washing machine .. easy!

Here is a pic of me with my gorgeous sister Bianca, Connor dancing with the shovel (strange boy!) and my other gorgeous sister Kendra and her boyfriend Jayden. Kendra spent most of the time studying (the fun part of being a uni student!), but it was great to catch up with my sisters. Jasmin popped out for a few hours on Saturday, so we got to see everyone.

Easter morning saw Connor and Imogen up early and devouring their eggs! Imogen was straight into them, as she just loves chocolate (I must be honest and say that she takes after her mother) and Connor was happier with the toys inside one of his eggs then the eggs themselves. They had a great day and were so spoilt!

We came home on Sunday afternoon and I spent the whole week washing everything .. campfire smoke just gets in everywhere! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends as well. x
